Cheat sheet
Markdown, and what mori makes of it.
Left column: the source, exactly as you would type it. Right column: that source put through mori's engine — the same render_document the editor and the app call. Nothing here is a screenshot or hand-written example HTML, so the page cannot drift away from the product. If a line renders as plain text, mori does not support it yet.
Basic syntax
The original set, understood everywhere Markdown is read.

Extended (GFM)
GitHub-flavoured additions. Safe to use anywhere a file might end up on GitHub, GitLab, or in most modern editors.
Tables
Pipes and a divider row
| Name | Role | | ----- | -------- | | Jihye | Design | | Harin | Research |
Alignment · colons in the divider
| Left | Centre | Right | | :--- | :----: | ----: | | a | b | 3.50 |
Typing these by hand gets old fast. The table generator writes and aligns them for you.

What mori adds
Beyond GFM. These stay plain text in readers that do not know them, so a file using them is still a file anyone can open.

Try any of it in the web editor — same engine, nothing to install.
Convert a document to HTML — the markup, ready to paste.
Build a table without counting pipes — columns, alignment, CSV paste.
Or download mori — for the files already on your disk.
